Be it a certificate or an award - Halfar has plenty to show off. And not only for our creative bags and products. We are also awarded as company for our commitment in further areas. We regard ourselves as part of society and also participate actively. For Halfar, responsibility is a core value. DIN ISO 9001:2015
In July 2024, we successfully passed the recertification according to DIN ISO 9001:2015. It is an important part of our qualitymanagement.

EcoVadis Silver Award
We were awarded the Silver Medal by EcoVadis, placing us among the top 15% of the 282 companies in our industry (‘Manufacture of travel goods, handbags, saddlery and harnesses’) evaluated by EcoVadis.

Halfar is a ClimatePartner certified company and we also make a financial contribution to climate protection for our products. More about our climate strategy.
Certification as ÖKOPROFIT® company
Halfar has been certified by ÖKOPROFIT® since 2012.
Ökogas with ÖkoPLUS certification
We operate our logistics site heating with 100 % climate-neutral eco-gas
GRS certification
Since June 2021, we have been successfully certified according to the Global Recycling Standard (GRS).
GOTS certification
Since 2017, we and our organic cotton products are certified according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).

Ökostrom Stadtwerke Bielefeld
We run our main site and our logistics centre on green electricity - of course only if the power from our photovoltaic systems is not sufficient.

Since September 2025, our company has been awarded the seal of ‘outstanding training achievements’ by the East Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Bielefeld.
